Contract review that starts at 90% done

/ 01The challenge

Utility-scale energy storage projects run on dense legal and commercial documents. Project contracts, supply agreements, warranties. Reviewing them was slow, manual, and a bottleneck for every team that needed answers out of them.

/ 02What we built
  • An LLM summarization pipeline converting complex legal documents into structured, consistent summaries
  • A fixed output template capturing key clauses, obligations, dates, and risk flags in the same place every time
  • Accuracy-first design: extraction grounded in the source text, with human review built into the workflow
/ 03How it runs

A reviewer used to read a hundred pages to find what matters. Now the pipeline reads every page and produces a structured summary in a known format, each item traceable back to the source document. Reviewers open the brief, verify the flagged items, and move on.

/ 04The outcome

Significantly faster document review for the teams that depended on it.

/ 05The pattern

Contract review is one instance of a shape we build repeatedly. Any team that reads dense documents for a living can start from a cited brief instead of page one. Claims files, policy documents, diligence rooms, vendor agreements. The source system and the output template change per client. The build underneath stays the same.

Buried in documents that hold up the work?

Contracts, claims, policies, invoices. Tell us what your team reads all day and we will tell you what the brief looks like.
